More about the treehouse

This turreted treehouse sits 4 metres up nestled between ancients socoyas, with a large outdoor terrace for dining and a sunken hot tub. The views out over the valley are only interrupted by the odd horse or donkey, and the spiral stairs lead up from the private garden.

Sleeping arrangements

The master bedroom has one king-size bed and twin singles accessed via a ladder are in the treehouse turret

Available extras

Space for 1 baby no charge. High chair, travel cot, potty, toilet seat or a baby bath can be provided on request.

Kids & Pets

Children must be supervised at all times. Pets cannot be accommodated.

Outdoor swimming pool

The outdoor heated swimming pool is only open during the summer months.

Parking

The treehouse is approximately 150m from the parking and the other accommodation at the Château.

Wellies, walking boots and waterproofs are recommended for you to enjoy the countryside comfortably.

Large french doors from the terrace open onto the living area with TV, DVD, music station and wifi throughout which you can enjoy from the comfort of the sofa.

The kitchen features a sink, dishwasher, oven, hob and coffee machine, and a dining area with a handmade table made from a huge slice of an old oak tree.

The living area leads onto the bathroom with double stone sinks and walk-in Italian style shower. For the grown ups there is double height master bedroom, with king size bed and a giant beaded chandelier suspended in the space above. French doors lead back onto the terrace where breakfast is delivered by winch.

The turreted kids bedroom is accessed via a ladder and has twin single beds at the top of the treehouse.

The treehouse is constructed from a mixture local douglas fir timber, larch and chestnut and thought the cabin the skilled craftsmanship and joinery can be enjoyed.
