Things to do...

Chateau de Memanat is a back-to-nature retreat, on the edge of the river Thaurion, tucked away in the Creuse region of central France. A glorious sprawl of forest and fields, cut through by rivers and dotted with lakes. The estate sits on the edge of the Millevaches National Park - a registered dark skies reserve. If you’re looking for magnificent lakes and market towns, hills and hiking trails coupled with a breathtaking natural landscape, you couldn’t find a better location to experience it than the Creuse. And with 50 acres to explore, the Memanat Estate provides the perfect setting for some serious adventure, from woodland wanders and crayfishing to stargazing or even a spot of wild swimming.

Whether you’re heading on holiday with the family or escaping the hustle and bustle with your better half, the Creuse - hidden in rural France - is filled with hidden gems just waiting for you to discover.
